Tiffany Prendergast is a clinical assistant and research associate at the Norman Marcus Pain Institute in New York City, where her work focuses on muscle-generated pain in chronic pain conditions, including hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. She holds a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Boston University, where her thesis examined overlooked soft tissue pathology in failed back surgery syndrome. Her research is driven by a commitment to patients whose pain is often dismissed or misdiagnosed, and to making chronic pain care more accessible and less stigmatized.
